ABOUT THIS EVENT:

Welcome! We have hosted 80+ Death Cafés in the Hudson Valley, and since March 2020, we’re hosting these events online, teaming up with Death Café of Westchester for this series of virtual events. People from all over the country (and sometimes the world) have joined our free virtual Death Cafés, with folks logging in to connect with each other and share their ideas and concerns about dying and death. By providing an online safe space for dialoguing and sharing, Death Café keeps the conversation going. Join our community, and let’s hang out and talk about dying and death!

At Death Cafés, the aim is to increase awareness of death in order to help people make the most of their finite lives. Death Cafés are open to, and respectful of, people of all communities and belief systems. A Death Café is a group-directed conversation about death with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.

Find out more about this worldwide movement at DeathCafe.com.

Plan to settle in with your tea or coffee in front of your computer for our Circle of Friends Death Cafe via Zoom on Monday, July 18, at 7–8:30 pm.

We’re looking forward to seeing you—and bring any interested friends!
