Planet Seniors is dedicated to the proposition that senior citizens are a valuable resource for education, knowledge and expertise. They can, as well, provide the threads that weave the tapestry together providing history and anecdotes for families, friends and communities. “But, more than that”, says host Rita Vanacore, “seniors are vibrant and active and they laugh, hurt, love and stand up for causes just like the rest of the population. Therefore, they should be given just as much ‘air time’ as their younger counterparts.”
Planet Seniors will offer information, fun, whimsy, oldies but goodies and a voice for the listening and participating pleasure of this increasing part of our population known as senior citizens. www.radiokingston.org
